Sexy Bronzed Skin for Summer! No Sun Required!

CAUDALIE DIVINE LEGS

This pearly copper lotion settles into skin quickly to impart an even—and authentic-looking—sun-kissed glow.

DR. HAUSCHKA TRANSLUCENT BRONZE CONCENTRATE

A drop of this bronzing formula transforms your favorite moisturizer into a tinted version without feeling sticky or greasy.

SCOTT BARNES BODY BLING (A FAVORITE OF JLO’S)

It’s a sexy temporary body bronzer that doesn’t require the commitment of a sunless tanner. The color tints skin just a shade, and the shimmery formula leaves it glistening. Apply to exposed skin only, as it has a tendency to rub off on clothing.

NARS BODY GLOW

It imparts a lovely, subtle sheen and tropical fragrance. It can stain clothes, so give it as much drying time as possible before getting dressed.

None of these products are self-tanners!

How to Recreate Vampire Bella’s Make Up Look From “Breaking Dawn – Part 2”

Apply a matte primer followed by a rose ivory foundation.

MAC Cosmetics Prep + Prime Skin

MAC Cosmetic Match Master SPF 15 Foundation in 1

Apply the foundation lightly in small amounts with a foundation brush,  since the foundation is sooo light as required for a vampire look.

Using MAC Eye Shadow in Charcoal Brown, shade your eyebrows with an eyebrow brush.

Create Bella’s eyes :

A cranberry smoky eye:

MAC Cosmetics Eye Shadows in:

Shroom (highlight brow bone),  Club (lid), and Cranberry (crease) is the key for the eyes along with false lashes, I like Shu Uermura.  Apply Club and Cranberry with a very light hand and blend well.  Line the inner rim of the lower eye with Sephora Collection Lasting and Perfecting Corrector.  Line the lower outer rim of lower eye with Club.  The eye should look defined yet soft.

Next contour your cheekbones, jawline, nose, and forehead with Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzing Powder and apply with a blush brush MAC Desert Rose Blush  lightly to

the apples of the cheeks blending outwards towards the temples.  See CT Esthetic’s article Face

Contouring & Highlighting on contour placement, except for the eye I’m avoiding highlighting

since the foundation is sooo light.

Bella’s lips:

Bella’s lips were quite defined but with very little color to them.

Soften lips with lip balm and blot, then use MAC Boldly Bare Lip Pencil

and Retro lipstick ; define your lips with the liner and finish by patting the lipstick on to

make it look natural.

Get That Look! Keira Knightley in Anna Karenina!

Keira Knightley as Anna Karenina

Keira Knightley as Anna Karenina

Chanel and Make-Up Artist Ivana Primorac were behind Keira’s, Anna Karenina, look.  Flawless skin that looked as if it had never been touched by the sun with a no make-up, make-up look to make Keira look like a Russian aristocrat.

How the look was achieved:

For the Face:

Mixing Chanel’s Vitalumiere foundations to create a darker shade (She needed to appear more olive-skinned for the film)

Highlight with Le Blanc de Chanel
For the eyes:

Chanel’s Le Crayon Khol in Ambre was applied liberally to elongate Keira’s eye and create real depth – it was rubbed it onto the back of Ivana’s hand and then applied to the eye area with a brush to create very subtle shadow and also used it to create shape and real definition

Ivana used the Illusion D’Ombre shadows in an aubergine and a taupe/amber color to create the nude make-up look, but to also accentuate her eyes.
